UISCE Éireann’s leak detection crews have successfully located the significant leak that had been impacting supply in the Keelogs and Druminor areas of Buncrana.
The leak was identified earlier today following extensive investigations, and repair works have since been completed.
As a result, water supply has now returned to customers across the affected areas.
Uisce Éireann’s Damien O’Sullivan thanked customers for their patience.
“I want to acknowledge the cooperation of the local community while our crews worked to locate and repair the significant leak on the network,” Mr O’Sullivan said.
“Now that the leak has been found and repairs have been completed, supply has returned to homes and businesses.
“I would still ask customers to be mindful of their water usage while the network balances over the coming hours.”
