TWO motorists have been arrested after they were observed racing each other at high speed on the Four Lane Road (N56) in Letterkenny.
Gardaí from the Buncrana Roads Policing Unit were conducting patrols in the area over the weekend as part of the Road Safety and Traffic Enforcement Campaign.
A garda spokesperson said: “The speed limit in that area is 60 km/hr.

“Both vehicles were stopped.
“The drivers were arrested and charged to appear in court.”
