AS the county recovers from the damage and impact of Storm Éowyn on Friday, Met Éireann has today issued more weather warnings for Donegal.
A Moderate Weather Warning for snow-ice for Donegal will take effect from 8pm this evening (Saturday) and is valid until 9am on Sunday.
And there’s a separate Moderate Weather Warning for Wind for Donegal, valid from 11am on Sunday until 6pm on Sunday evening.
The affected areas for that wind warning are Donegal, Leitrim, Louth and Meath.
Met Éireann say it will bring strong and gusty winds and there could be further damage to already weakened structures and trees. Dangerous travelling conditions should also be expected.
The affected areas for the snow-ice warning for tonight are Donegal, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo.
Meanwhile much of the county remains without power this afternoon while many homes and businesses are without a water supply.
The clean up operation continues following Storm Éowyn with ESB crews and staff from Donegal County Council deployed right around the county.
Nationally, almost 530,000 homes and businesses remain without power.
