Two men arrested as part of ongoing investigations into organised crime, including human trafficking and money laundering, have been released without charge.
On Friday, Gardaí in Donegal arrested the two men in Louth and Roscommon.
The men, aged in their 50s and 40s, were detained at stations in the Garda North Western Region under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act 2007.
“The two males were released without charge and a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions,” a garda spokesperson said today.
Gardaí have confirmed that investigations are ongoing.
