Two men arrested after robbery at Rathmullan business

Gardaí in Milford have arrested two men following an investigation into a robbery of a business premises that occurred on Pound Street, Rathmullan, yesterday evening.

At approximately 7pm, one man entered the premises armed with a knife and threatened staff. No one was injured during the incident. He left the scene with a large sum of money.

In a follow up search, Gardaí arrested two men (both aged in their 20s) and recovered the money and weapon. Both men are currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at a Garda station in the Northern region.

Gardaí have said the investigation is ongoing.
