THIS morning, Wednesday, June 12, Gardaí from the Garda Extradition Unit with assistance by the Special Detective Unit, arrested two males (both in their 70s) in counties Donegal and Meath.
These arrests are the result of a planned operation with the Police Service of Northern Ireland, on foot of extradition warrants under the Trade and Cooperation Agreement (TaCA) issued by the Northern Ireland Authorities.
One of the males will appear before the High Court, Criminal Courts of Justice, Dublin, this morning.
The second male will appear before the High Court in Dublin later today.
