TWO people were taken to Letterkenny University Hospital following a crash on the main Letterkenny to Derry road this morning.

Gardai and the fire service attended the incident close to the picnic area at Manorcunningham just after 11am. It is understood the occupants of two vehicles were taken to hospital, however the extent of their injuries is not known.

 

Recent weeks have seen a number of minor collisions along what is one of the busiest stretches of road in the county.

There was some disruption to traffic but the road was fully re-opened shortly after the accident.
