TWO Donegal MACE stores were honoured at the recent MACE Excellence Awards for achieving exceptional standards in retailing.
Ciaran and Brian Brogan of Brogan’s MACE Dry Arch and Gavin O’Donnell of O’Donnell’s MACE Crolly received the awards at a ceremony held in Lawlor’s Hotel, in Naas, Co Kildare.
The awards were hosted by BWG Foods, owners and operators of the MACE brand in Ireland.
This year’s MACE Excellence Awards, held in association with Solution Management Associates (SMA), are only awarded to MACE stores that pass an intensive year-long inspection, including three unannounced audits, visits from mystery shoppers and a BWG-led compliance audit for every store as part of the qualifying criteria.
Congratulating the winners, Keith Crawford, MACE Sales Director, said the awards recognise those who, through their commitment to outstanding retail standards and customer service, continue to set the benchmark for the brand and marketplace overall.
“Increasingly high standards are undoubtedly contributing to the continued success of MACE.
“I want to congratulate Ciaran and Brian Brogan and Gavin O’Donnell and their teams.
“Their efforts have been truly outstanding and their recognition is very well-deserved,” he said.
