Two pop up COVID-19 clinics will be held in Dungloe this week offering both primary and booster vaccinations.
It is important to continue to embrace the booster campaign to ensure the best protection for you, your family and the wider community in the coming winter months.
The clinics will be held on Friday, October 7 and Saturday, October 8 from 11am until 5.15pm on both days in the Community Mental Health Hub Dungloe, Co. Donegal, F94Y326.
Vaccines available are:
- Dose 1, Dose 2, and booster vaccines for those aged 12 + years
- Second boosters for those aged 12- 49 years deemed medically vulnerable
- Second booster for those aged 50 years and over
- Booster vaccines for pregnant women who are 16 weeks and over and have not received a booster previously during their current pregnancy
- Booster vaccines for Healthcare workers
- Third booster for those aged 65 years and over

While walk-ins are welcome, we would encourage people to book their appointment at www.hse.ie to ensure a suitable time and for the easy flow of the centre.

Interval between first round of COVID-19 vaccination and first booster
- If you are in the 16+ year’s age group you need to wait four months (at least 120 days) after your first round of COVID-19 vaccination before you can get a booster. If you had COVID-19 since you were vaccinated, you should get your booster dose at least four months (at least120 days) after your positive test result.
- If you are in the 12-15 years age group you need to wait four months (at least 120 days) after receiving your second dose of COVID-19 vaccination before you can get a booster. If you had COVID-19 since you were vaccinated, you should get your booster dose at least four months (at least 120 days) after your positive test result.Interval between first booster and second booster
- You should get your second booster at least 4 months (at least 120 days) after your first booster. You can check the date of your last booster on your digital COVID-19 certificate.
- If you have had COVID-19 since your first booster, wait at least 4 months (120 days) after you tested positive or from when your symptoms started.
