A MAN and woman have been arrested following an alleged stabbing in Ballybofey last night.
A man (30s) was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital following the incident.
A garda spokesperson said: “Gardaí have arrested a man and woman following an assault which occurred at a residence in Ballybofey, Donegal at approximately 9pm on Wednesday, October 16.

“A man in his 30s was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital to receive treatment following the incident.
“The man and woman (both 20s) are currently detained at a Garda Station in Donegal under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.”
