Eamonn Doherty, Donegal, and Kieran Donaghy, Kerry, clash after a challenge.
DONEGAL are still sweating on their Division 1 status after Kerry held on for a two-point win on Sunday in Tralee.
The defeat means that Donegal now have a vital derby against Tyrone on Sunday-week in Ballybofey. With both teams sitting on four points, it means the loser will be odds-on for the drop.
Social media was full of praise for Donegal’s improved display, though, while referee Rory Hickey’s ears must have been burning!
Donegal can still play a bit ,couple of misplaced passes and a few wiles around the hour mark cost us.

Dunno how the ref in Donegal game didn't see the pull back on big Neil seconds before Kerry penalty, clear free out..!

Donegal's tally of 2-11 the most they've ever scored in Kerry by four points. Not enough, though…

Watched donegal. Credit for stepping up and putting in good shift. Take some positives and move on.

Was great to get a 70min performance from #donegal. Leaves us in a precarious position for last 2 rounds but we've the stuff to do it. #gaa

Kerry shower great heart against not alone Donegal but the ref too, the crator was colour blind, should have been 3 black card in d 1st half

Great game of football between Kerry and Donegal, thought it was a soft penalty given to Kerry, although they were great value for their win

Sometimes you should not believe all you read – I really enjoyed Donegal today and if they hadn't kicked those 3 wides early in 2nd half ??

Happy with that performance .. Much improved from last week. Still had enough chances to win match but can't fault effort from #Donegal #GAA
