IT has been a busy minor season so far but the real action begins this weekend and Donegal have a tricky knock-out tie away to Cavan.
Luke Barrett’s team were flying during the league and won the Ulster Minor League.
Their form dipped in the round-robin of the Ulster Championship and they have lost to Derry and Monaghan on back-to-back weekends.
Donegal have been frustrated with their performances but they must put things right this week in Breffni Park, and only a win will be enough to take them through to the last four.
“I suppose this is when the real championship begins. There are no second chances after Saturday,” said Donegal selector, Brendan Kilcoyne.
