NORTHWEST trad rock group Sontas are coming to Letterkenny this weekend for a special St Patrick’s Weekend performance at An Grianán Theatre.

The band has been riding high on the successes of last year, which saw them as main stage act for the Olympic Torch Tour 2012, and performing to audiences of up to 10,000, appearances in Belfast City Hall and at the International Clipper Festival Celebrations.

Sontas also launched their debut album Prospect Road to a packed house in Derry’s Millennium Forum in November.

The first stop of their Northwest tour will be Letterkenny`s An Grianan Theatre on Saturday, March 16, and it’s promising to be an unmissable evening.

The group, who have been hard at work polishing off their material for the upcoming shows, features three Letterkenny residents – singer Karol Harvey, pianist Denise Roper and bassist Michael Gillespie.

Tickets for the night are available from the box office on Tel 074 91 20777 or online at www.angrianan.com. Support on the night will be provided by Derry based singer Betty Harrigan.
