Parts of Gaoth Dobhair were hit by serious flooding overnight, causing dangerous driving conditions and significant disruption locally.
One of the worst-hit spots was the road opposite the NowDoc medical centre, which is completely flooded.
In the midst of the chaos, a local tractor driver has been praised by local Cllr John Sheamuis Ó Fearraigh for transporting nurses and doctors to their workplace.

Speaking to the Donegal News, Cllr Ó Fearraigh said that the high tied coupled with the yellow weather rain warning has led to the severe flooding locally.
There is now growing concern as the weather warning is in place until 5pm this evening.
Cllr Ó Fearraigh has been in contact with Donegal County Council and the Office of Public Works (OPW) to coordinate emergency assistance and clean-up efforts.
