Tough assignment for Bonagee

Bonagee United face a tough assignment this Saturday when they travel to Kildare to face Maynooth University Town in the qualifying round for the FAI Cup at 2pm.

Maynooth won the FAI Intermediate Cup three years ago, so they have plenty of pedigree.

Maynooth have also been back playing in the Leinster Senior League over the last two weeks so that will be an advantage against a Bonagee side who haven’t played competitively since they defeated Letterkenny Rovers in the Donegal News League Cup Final on September 1, 2020.
