A WACKER plate and consaw were among a number of tools stolen from a yard in Letterkenny.
The theft occurred on the Neil T Blaney Road sometime between midnight and 1am on the morning of Wednesday, June 28.
A number of tools were stolen from a yard located just off the Polestar roundabout, across from the Tourist Office, between those times. The tools stolen included a Belle orange wacker plate, a yellow rock breaker and a Stihl orange/white consaw.
A garda spokesperson said: “We appeal to anybody who may have noticed any sort of vehicle pulled in at that location between those times to make contact with us. If anybody passed that area who had a dash cam between Midnight and 1am, we ask them to make the footage available.”
Gardaí have also urged that should anybody come across similar tools for sale on a second hand basis over the coming days/weeks to alert them. Gardaí in Letterkenny may be contacted on (074 9167100) with relevant information.
