Toland and Barrett named in Ireland squad

Tyler Toland, Amber Barrett and Anna Patten have been named in Carla Ward’s latest Ireland Women’s National Team squad.

Milford native Barrett, St Johnston’s Tyler Toland and Anna Patten, who qualifies through her roots in Falcarragh, have all been selected ahead of Ireland’s UEFA Nations League Promotion/Relegation play-off with Belgium.

The Girls in Green will face the Belgian Red Flames over two legs, with a place in League A of the competition.

Aston Villa’s Patten is suspended for the first leg of the tie against the Belgian women.

The two-legged tie will commence on Friday October 24 at the Aviva Stadium with a 7.00pm kick-off scheduled.
