KIERAN Tobin is battling hard to earn a starting berth in the St Eunan’s team ahead of the county final, and his excellent showing as a substitute in last week’s semi-final will have given Rory Kavanagh and his management some food for thought.
Tobin made a huge impression last year with ‘Eunan’s and was the Donegal Under 20 captain this season.
However, after spending the summer in Boston, others were given a chance to impress, and it hasn’t been an easy passage back into the first fifteen.
“I was away for a long time and these boys kept at it and trained hard.”
