Tinney family raise £8,000 for NW Cancer Centre

William Tinney and family from Raphoe have raised an incredible £8,000 for the North West Cancer Centre at Altnagelvin Hospital.

The Western Health and Social Care Trust (Western Trust) gratefully acknowledges an incredible donation of £8,000 to the North West Cancer Centre at Altnagelvin Hospital, Derry.

The North West Cancer Centre gratefully accepted a cheque from William Tinney and his family, from Raphoe, Co Donegal.

William, his wife Mary, sons Gavin and Liam and daughter Sandra made the presentation to Professor Stewart, Consultant Oncologist and Tracey Mears, Radiotherapy Nurse Specialist.

On behalf of the North West Cancer we would like to pass on a huge thank you to all who kindly donated and supported the Tinney Family’s fundraising efforts, including the charity night that was held. It is very much appreciated by staff, patients and relatives and will go towards patients comfort funds in the North West Cancer Centre.
