Heavy winds have caused further power outages in Donegal today with homes and businesses in the Glenties/Ardara area affected.
There has been thunder and lightning in parts of the county this morning and a new weather warning for thunderstorms is in place until 9pm tonight. Hail showers have also hit different areas of the county.
ESB crews this morning repaired two faults in Glenties.
The first fault has left 87 customers without power and a second fault impacted 189 customers.
The faults were reported this morning at 8.15am and power was restored in both cases at around 10.30am.
A wind and rain warning ended at 6am this morning as Storm Gerrit continues to bring unsettled conditions.
However, Met Éireann have this morning issued a Moderate Weather Warning for thunderstorms in Donegal.
Scattered thunderstorms are forecast with lightning activity expected. Hail is possible too and Met Éireann is warning of power outages, hazardous travelling conditions and localised flooding.
The yellow weather warning affects Munster, Donegal and Connacht.
A separate moderate weather warning for rain has also been issued for Donegal with heavy rainfall forcast leading to localised flooding. The yellow rain warning is valid from 6am to 9pm on Friday.
In the past week, homes and businesses have been without power for a time in areas around the Twin Towns, Letterkenny, Milford and Killybegs.
