Abbey Vocational School duo Seanán Carr and Kevin Muldoon and St Columba’s Comprehensive, Glenties student Finnbarr Roarty have been named in the Danske Bank Ulster Schools GAA Football All-Star team for 2024.
Carr captained the Abbey Vocational School to the MacLarnon Cup title and the Paddy Drummond Cup as they won the All-Ireland Schools Senior B final against Ashbourne in Clones last month, with Kevin Muldoon winning Man of the Match in the All-Ireland final.
The Abbey pair represent Four Masters at club level, with Carr winning the Donegal Minor Championship in 2022, while Muldoon also won it in 2023 along with the Ulster Club title.
Roarty is named in the team for the second year running. The Naomh Conaill clubman captained the Donegal minors in 2023 and captains the U20 side this year.
Carr and Roarty both made their Donegal senior debut in January of this year in the McKenna Cup.
