Three Donegal players are represented in the final list of football nominations that make up the PwC All-Stars announced.
Peadar Mogan is in the mix for a spot in the defence, while Michael Langan and Ciaran Thompson are nominated in the forward line. All three players impressed for Donegal in the 2020 Ulster Championship as Declan Bonner’s team reached the final.
The history-making, six-in-a-row All-Ireland champions Dublin head up the high-calibre 45-strong shortlist with 13 men throughout every area of the pitch.
Beaten finalists Mayo are next with 12 contenders for the final 15.
The nominations were chosen by a panel of Gaelic Games correspondents from across, print, radio, TV and digital media, chaired by Uachtarán CLG John Horan.
It is intended that the presentation of the PwC All-Star awards will take place late next month in a TV show that will be in line with Covid-19 restrictions and will be confirmed in due course.
