Three Donegal players have been named in the GAA.ie Team of the Week after the win over Down.
Jim McGuinness’ men won by 1-19 to 0-16 against the Mourne County with Michael Langan, Dáire Ó Baoill and Shaun Patton being rewarded for their performances in the six point win.
St Eunan’s man Patton put on a great exhibition of kicking in the first half, especially for the goal. He got away with one in the second half but made a huge save from Shay Millar.
Ó Baoill kicked a two-pointer in the first half and added another score in the second half. He should have got a goal when played in by Ciaran Moore but the Gaoth Dobhair man had another good outing.
St Michael’s club man Langan had another impressive display as he set up Patrick McBrearty for the goal while he also kicked a brilliant two point free in the second half.
