Three Donegal players have been named in the team of the week for their performances in the 0-18 to 0-16 win against Tyrone on Sunday.
Niall O’Donnell and Jason McGee have been named in the team along with Ryan McHugh who is up for Player of the Week.
St Eunan’s clubman O’Donnell put in a massive shift for his team and his probing and intelligence were central to keeping Donegal alive in the game. The 25-year-old also hit two points, one in either half of normal time as Donegal went on to win in extra-time.
Cloughaneely man Jason McGee had a superb outing in midfield and was dominant in the aerial battle while he also hit two points at the start of the second half as Donegal tried to mount a comeback.
McHugh of Kilcar also impressed in the win and was once again an integral part of the Donegal side and turned over possession a number of times for his side in Celtic Park.
