Three Donegal men were involved in the Liverpool John Moores Univeristy/Edge Hill University side that landed the Corn na Mac Léinn Cup on Saturday.
Ardara native Michael Mulreany captained the side, while Naomh Padraig Uisce Chaoin’s Jonathan Toye joined him in the starting lineup, with Alan Clarke from the same club was on the bench for the showpiece.
Liverpool John Moores Univeristy/Edge Hill University met New York in Saturday’s decider at the DCU Sports complex and extra-time was required to determine a winner.

The English college fought hard in the additional periods of play, coming from five points adrift to seal a four-point win on a scoreline of 1-21-2-14.
