TENS of thousands of third-level hopefuls will receive the offer of a college place later today.
The Central Applications Office is due to issue Round One offers to individual applicants from early afternoon and will publish this year’s cut-off points on its website from 2pm.
More than 83,500 have applied to the CAO this year.

Students will have until 3 September to accept or decline their offer and then a second round of offers will go out on 9 September.
