THOMPSON, Mel – peacefully, in the loving care of his family and the staff at St. Joseph’s Community Hospital, Stranorlar. Beloved husband of Mary, much loved father of Patrick, Conal, Bernadette (Bernie), Damien and the late Barry, cherished brother of Ita, Margaret, Fintan, Plunkett, Ann and the late Kay.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his sorrowing wife, sons, daughter, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Funeral leaving his home on Thursday, November 5th at 1.35 pm (via Ard McCool and Main Street) for Requiem Mass in the Church of Mary Immaculate, Stranorlar at 2 pm. Interment afterwards in Drumboe Cemetery.

The Requiem Mass will be streamed live via the Parish webcam at https://www.churchservices.tv/stranorlar

In compliance with current Government restrictions, the house and Funeral will be private to family only, please.

Those who would have liked to attend but due to current restrictions cannot may leave a message of sympathy for the family in the condolences section below.

Donations in lieu of flowers please, if so desired, to the Patients’ Comfort Fund, St. Joseph’s Community Hospital, Stranorlar.
