There are 35 patients without a bed at Letterkenny University Hospital today, according to the latest Trolley Watch figures released by the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation (INMO).
Of these, 16 patients are waiting on trolleys in the emergency department, while a further 19 patients are waiting for beds in wards elsewhere in the hospital.
Nationally, 530 admitted patients are waiting for beds this morning, according to today’s INMO figures.
