Ciaran Moore has impressed since coming into the county team under Jim McGuinness and made his first championship start in Celtic Park last Saturday and he’ll be hoping it’s the first of many, starting with another in the quick turnaround on Sunday against Tyrone
“I suppose just like a lot of fellas I got asked up for training at the start and I said I’d give it a go and it has just kind of gone from there,” said the St Eunan’s clubman.
“To be playing for Donegal and with Jim coming in there’s a real buzz around the county.
“In 2012 I would have been 10 and they were good times, looking up to even the likes of Paddy McBrearty and (Michael) Murphy and them boys, they set the standard and they showed how good Donegal can be when we put our minds to it.
“There’s a long way to go and no game is easy in Ulster so we’ll dust ourselves down and get ready for next weekend.
“We’ll try to get the bodies right, regroup and see where it takes us, we know it’s not going to be an easy game so we’ll focus on ourselves and we’ll have a crack at them.
“We take each game as it comes and at this level all games are going to be big and I’m just looking forward to every game as it comes and try take the opportunity when we get it.”
