THE music of legendary Irish folk group The Dubliners will be faithfully recreated at The Balor, Ballybofey this Saturday night (April 2).
The Dubliners Show features five top rated folk musicians and singers who replicate the sights and sound of the original Dubliners line-up of Ronnie Drew, Luke Kelly, Barney McKenna, Ciaran Burke and John Sheehan. Using the exact same instrumentation and ‘close as you will get to the original’ vocals they recreate the sound and the appearance of the internationally acclaimed The Dubliners with uncanny accuracy.
The band have played to full houses and standing ovations on previous Irish tours with old favourites such as The Irish Rover, Seven Drunken Nights and McAlpine’s Fusiliers seeing audiences clapping hands, stomping feet and raucously joining in on the chorus. Fans of Irish folk won’t want to miss this chance to relive the music and song of Ireland’s most famous folk band.
The Dubliners Show comes to The Balor Theatre, Ballybofey this Saturday at 8pm. Tickets are €15 available from The Balor Box Office on 0749131840 or online at www.balorartscentre.com
