The Murray brothers bring Canadian jazz star to Falcarragh

Twin brothers Conor and Michéal Murray, two rising stars of Irish jazz and artistic directors of the Falcarragh Winter Jazz Festival, are bringing one of Canada’s leading jazz saxophonists Nick Morgan, to perform with them as part of a fundraiser concert for the 2019 Falcarragh Winter Jazz Festival.

“We are incredibly excited to be bringing over one of Canada’s leading jazz musicians, and one our heroes to play with as part of our fundraising concert for the festival,” says Michéal.

“It’s a real privilege for us to have Nick coming over and playing with us, especially as this also marks the start of our monthly gig in the Shamrock running up to the festival in December,” said Conor.

The concert takes place tomorrow night in the Shamrock at 10pm. There will be no charge on the door. Open donations are welcome on the night, and all proceeds will go towards the Falcarragh Winter Jazz Festival.
