INISHOWEN’S finest, The Henry Girls are joined by Scotland’s Rachel Sermanni and Canadian bluesman Tom Terrell for a transatlantic triple bill at Ballybofey’s Balor Arts Centre this Thursday night, February 5.

The Henry Girls have carved out a formidable reputation for themselves on both sides of the Atlantic and are looking forward to their first home concert of the year.

Their inimitable blend of stunning vocal harmonies with traditional Irish, Scottish, oldtime American music and jazz has established them as one of the very best alt folk outfits to be found. Anywhere. Catch them at The Balor in advance of a major 2015 US tour.

Rising Scottish folk star Rachel Sermanni beautiful fluent sound and eloquent lyrics are a perfect match for her captivating stage prescence.

Though only 23 she has built an impressive resume supporting many marvels including John Grant, Mumford and Sons, Ron Sexsmith and Elvis Costello. She hits the road again in 2015 with a new studio album – Tied To The Moon.

Canadian bluesman, bluegrasser and poet Tom Terrell has garnered an impressive amount of acclaim as the singer/songwriter and guitar player with Canadian roots supergroup The Modern Grass.

In addition to his onstage acclaim he was also recently awarded Producer of the Year at the 2014 Canadian Folk Music Awards.
