Following on from their incredible performance at the fantastic Swell Festival on the island of Arranmore last weekend, popular band The Heads Of State are heading west again tomorrow, Friday, to headline this month’s Clubeo at Leo’s Tavern, Crolly.

The monthly event is hosted by Clannad’s own Moya Brennan and well-known Raidio na Gaeltachta broadcaster Donall Mac Ruairí and since its inception nearly 18 months has provided a regular platform form singers and performers of all ages.

Giving singers the chance to perform in public and present their own material, or even covers, is the prime directive of the popular event which is mirrored in the audience’s appreciation on every occasion, who sit back and enjoy the talent on display in an incredible atmosphere.

Punters are therefore always asked to land early and support that upcoming talent as it takes a lot of guts for the sometimes lesser experienced singers to step onto that stage and perform.

Clubeo at Leo’s Tavern, Meenaleck, Crolly, starts at 9pm.
