THE fantastic Clann Mhic Ruairí will take to the stage in An tSean Bheairic, Falcarragh, this Friday night, November 14.

All renowned singers in their own right, these four brothers, Tony, Aodh, Sean, Dónal and Tony’s daughter Megan make up this lively, impromptu traditional Gaelic singing group from Rann na Feirste in the Gaeltacht of North West Donegal. They perform traditional songs with a contemporary innovative and inspirational approach retaining the traditional purity and integrity.

They will be joined by the one and only Cathal Curran, from the young traditional group An Crann Óg. Cathal, a multi-instrumentalist, singer and entertainer, is delighting audiences at home and abroad with his virtuosity and style.

Receiving three encores and a standing ovation the last time they played in the intimate setting of An tSean Bheairic, Clann Mhic Ruairí, along with Cathal Curran will surely bring the house down.

The concert is part of the “Scoláireacht Éamoinn Ghráinne” project run by An tSean Bheairic, promoting the traditional singing tradition in North-West Donegal.
