Termon treble on track

Termon 6-9 Naomh Conaill 2-7

Termon powered past Naomh Conaill in this Donegal Ladies senior football semi-final with little fuss or furore.

Leading 4-4 to 1-2 at half time the back-to-back champions were never in trouble and with former all-star Geraldine McLaughlin rampant on the edge of the small square, they were home and hosed long before the finish.

The wiley McLaughlin landed 1-2 in the opening period but she also had a hand in the other three goals.

Ciara McGarvey rifled home a penalty after eight minutes to get the scoreboard ticking and further majors from Jodie McFadden and McLaughlin on twenty and twenty three minutes set the tone for the afternoon.

Cora Doherty and the excellent Danielle McDevitt responded for Naomh Conaill with good points but they were outclassed and outfoxed all over the park.
