St Eunan’s 0-6 Termon 1-5
TERMON edged out St Eunan’s in a tense Under 21 ‘A’ semi-final in challenging conditions at Pairc Naomh Columba this afternoon.
An early goal from Bobby McGettigan gave Termon a good lead but St Eunan’s were level by half-time.
The Burn Road side moved ahead at the start of the second half thanks to a Cian McMenamin brace, but the Letterkenny side were stubborn and stayed in contention.
Stephen Black put Termon two up again in the 62nd minute and that left St Eunan’s needing a goal.
There was one goalmouth scramble at the death and some of the ‘Eunan’s players were convinced the ball had crossed the line, but Ryan McFadden came powering out with possession and the full-time whistle blew seconds later.
Termon will play Sean MacCumhaill’s or Gaoth Dobhair in the final next weekend.
