Termon 2-10 St Eunan’s 1-11

Termon produced a brilliant second half performance to defeat St Eunan’s in the Under 21 ‘A’ Championship North at the Burn Road today.

An early goal from Padraig McGettigan helped St Eunan’s into a 1-4 to 0-0 lead after 15 minutes.

However, a three-pointer from Bobby McGettigan kept Termon in the mix.

HT: Termon 1-2 St Eunan’s 1-6

Termon were the better team in an exciting second half but a 58th minute free from David Boyle appeared to win it for St Eunan’s.

However, the home side had other ideas and Conor Black scored a fine goal and Ryan McFadden added the insurance point.

Both teams are already through to the quarter-finals of the Under 21 Championship.
