A TENDER has been published for the development of a €7 million housing project on the Kilmacrennan Road in Letterkenny.
The works will include the construction of 30 two and three storey social housing units on a brownfield site at Airde na Buaile.
The scheme comprises of six one bedroom apartments, twenty two bedroom houses and four three bedroom houses.
The associated site works and services consist of the following non exhaustive list: Diversion of an existing overhead power line, diversion of asbestos trunk watermain and cast iron watermain, site clearance and excavation works, on-site surface water attenuation, new access roads, footpaths and carparking throughout the site, construction of water booster station, existing wastewater mains upgrade.
The estimated value of the contract is €7 milion and the duration is 21 months.
The deadline for the submission of tenders is 4pm on February 26.
