Finn Harps 0-2 Bohemians
TEN-MAN Finn Harps were left to rue a host of missed chances as they lost out against Bohemians at Finn Park this afternoon.
Harps were much the better team in the first half and had several good chances but couldn’t make the breakthrough.
The sides were level at the break and Harps attacker Jamie Siaj saw a glorious opportunity blocked two minutes after the restart.
Harps should have been in front but Bohs took the lead against the run of play in 54th minute with Declan McDaid heading into the bottom corner.
The home side were reduced to ten men in the 74th minute when Ryan Rainey picked up a second booking.
Bohs put the game beyond reach in the 84th minute when Jordan Doherty sent a brilliant shot into the top corner.
Harps Assistant Manager Gavin Dykes was sent to the stands late on as Harps had to settle for defeat, and they remain bottom of the table.
