Temperatures to rise as wind warning issued for Sunday

A low temperature and ice warning remains in place until 11am this morning but there will be milder conditions as the day progresses, according to Met Eireann.
Further snowfall overnight has again led to dangerous driving conditions across the county.
“A cold and frosty morning with icy stretches. Becoming generally dry and sunny though as any remaining showers in Ulster die out,” said the forecaster.
“Turning cloudier from the west later with southwesterly winds increasing moderate to fresh. Quite cold with highs of 3 to 7°C.”
Meanwhile Met Eireann has issued a status yellow wind warning for the country from 11am Sunday to 6am on Monday.
They are warning of significant coastal waves difficult travelling conditions and possible debris and loose objects displaced.
