Temperatures to reach up to 30 degrees today

A WEATHER warning for high temperatures remains in place for Donegal with temperatures expected to reach a high of 30 degrees today.

Met Éireann’s yellow warning remains in place until Friday while an orange warning is in place for counties Cavan, Monaghan, south Leitrim, Roscommon, Longford, and Westmeath where temperatures are expected to exceed 30 degrees.

A Met Éireann spokesperson said: “High temperatures continuing this week with hot conditions by day and staying very warm and humid at night.

“Daytime maximum temperatures generally 27 to 30 degrees Celsius with overnight values not falling below 17 to 20 degrees.”
