A TEENAGER had to attend Letterkenny University Hospital following an alleged assault in the town at the weekend.
The male, aged in his late teens, is believed to have been assaulted by another male at Lower Main Street in the early hours of Saturday, October 11, at approximately 3.07am.
The injured male attended Letterkenny University Hospital to receive medical treatment as he had sustained injuries. None of the injuries were life threatening in nature.
A garda spokesperson said: “We appeal to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to get in touch with us. If anyone travelled at Lower Main Street with a dash-cam around that time, we ask them to make the footage available to us. Any relevant information should be passed on to Gardaí in Letterkenny on (074) 9167100.”
