A TEENAGE boy has died in a drowning tragedy in Stranorlar.
Gardaí and a number of other emergency services attended the scene of the tragedy shortly before 5.40pm yesterday evening, after receiving reports of a person entering the River Finn at Drumboe Woods.
A male juvenile was taken from the water and brought to Letterkenny University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

A post-mortem examination will be carried out in due course, and a file will be prepared for the Coroner.
