THE reality of budget cuts on the most disadvantaged of Donegal’s schools was revealed further following a meeting of concerned teachers from small and country schools last weekend.
It emerged last week that as many as 50 teaching jobs could be lost in the county as a result of the cumulative affects of the proposed changes in primary schools.
However, members of the INTO who met in Donegal Town at the weekend believe the actual figure could be closer to 70 over the three year term of this Budget.
