Takeaway damaged during burglary in Donegal Town

GARDAI have renewed an appeal for information about a burglary at a takeaway in Donegal Town.

Gardaí are appealing for the assistance of the public in relation to the burglary that occurred at a business premises located at the Diamond, Donegal Town in the early hours of Sunday, September 21, between 2.45am and 3am.

Two men entered the building through an unlocked door to the rear of the premises and made their way through the rooms. They caused some damage inside but nothing was stolen.

A garda spokesperson said: “We appeal to anyone who may have travelled in the area of the Diamond between 2.30am and 3.30am with a
dash-cam, to make the footage available to Gardaí.”
