Major boost for Little John Nee


FORTY years ago a young 13-year-old Letterkenny boy saw Jimi Hendrix on television for the first time and knew what he wanted to be – a performer. That boy was Little John Nee, last Sunday’s recipient of the Irish Times Theatre Award for Best Sound Design for his show Sparkplug.

One Donegal Festival closes with film premiere


TO MARK the closing of the 2012 One Donegal November Festival, an audience of fifty eager primary school children joined forces with friends and family from Ramelton to attend the film premiere of Story C.I.R.C.L.E in the Regional Cultural Centre, Letterkenny.
