Letterkenny man pleads guilty to pub arson
TWO men pleaded guilty before the Circuit Court sitting in Letterkenny on Wednesday to separate charges, one for the arson of the Convoy Orange Hall and the other for criminal damage to the door of the Presbyterian Church in Convoy on the same date.
CONVOY Orange Hall officially re-opened its doors on Saturday – two years after being destroyed in an arson attack.
A SECOND man has been remanded in custody in connection with a fire at an apartment and retail complex at Upper Main Street, Letterkenny on Thursday.
ARSON is suspect as being the cause of this morning’s blaze which destroyed Convoy Orange Hall.

Cllr Sean McEniff has condemned the suspected arson of a house earmarked for a Traveller family near Ballyshannon. The house was gutted when fire broke out shortly after 3am this morning.
