SWEENEY – The death has occurred of Neil Sweeny, Broad Road, Convoy, F93 K859. Formerly of Lettershambo, Drumkeen, peacefully in his 90th year, surrounded by his loving family in the wonderful care and kindness of the Donegal Hospice staff.
Neil will be greatly missed by his devoted wife Kathleen, children Hughie, Anne (O’Farrell), Neil, P.J., Catherine (Peoples) and Daniel. Sisters Annie, Sally and Katie. Pre-deceased by his brothers Dan, Hughie and James, sons-in-law William and Kevin, daughters-in-law Brid, Sarah, Alice and Tanya, fifteen grandchildren and a wide circle of family and friends.
Neil’s remains will be residing at his late residence today, Friday 11th October from 6 pm. Removal from there on Sunday, 13th October at 12.15 pm for 1 pm Funeral Mass in St. Patrick’s Church, Drumkeen followed by burial in the adjoining Cemetery.
Family time only please from 11 pm to 11 am.
