Suspicious activity spate focus of public meeting

 

A public meeting will take place this evening in Killea in the wake of numerous reports of suspicious activity in the area.

 

Councillor Paul Canning will in attendance at this evening’s meeting. He said while efforts are being made to catch those behind the recent incidents, more must be done particularly when it comes to the judicial system when they are brought before the courts. 

 

The meeting starts at 8pm this evening in the community hall in Killea. One of the issues thought to be raised is the possibility of setting up a community alert scheme.
