Survey reveals 240 children waiting for free childcare place in Letterkenny

AN unprecedented crisis is looming in the childcare sector in Donegal with significant challenges being posed by defective concrete blocks and staffing issues, a leading practitioner has warned.

Manager of Donegal County Childcare Committee, Trish McLaughlin has spoken of her fears for children, parents and staff amid a testing landscape for the sector across the county.
